Harlequin ( Fire ) Quartz cabs
We imported this material from Madagascar in 2003. We didnt really know what the material was were ordered, but it sounded interesting. When we receive the parcel it was in a large wicker basket full of crystal points. We sold the better points as specimens and noticed that the internal inclusion looked like glitter. The inclusions are lepidochrosite, hematite, and titanium.

We found the remaining crystals buried in our storage building in early 2007 and decided to cut them into cabochons.
